Mom's Day Out

Mission Statement

A “reach out” ministry of New Beginnings church that provides a safe environment where preschool children experience the love of God, embrace Bible fundamentals, and receive quality age-appropriate educational curriculum.

The Goals of NBC Mom's Day Out

To help each child develop a healthy perception of himself as a child of God.
To help each appreciate God’s creation and recognize His hand in all things.
To foster ever-increasing levels of independence in a safe, Christian environment.
To equip pre-schoolers with the social, emotional, and intellectual tools for school.
To serve as a support to the family.

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30a - 2:30p

Classes begin at 9:30a. Please don't arrive before 9:25a.
Classes are dismissed from 2:20 - 2:30p.
Please be prompt in picking up your child.

Procedures for Pickup/Drop Off

If you want to bring your child in, please park in the parking lot not under the awning.
For drop off – please pull under the awning and a teacher will come to help get your child from the car.
For pickup – please wait under the awning. A teacher will bring your child to the car. Please place your child’s sign on your driver’s side dashboard. We will put the child in the car, but it is your responsibility to properly buckle your child.
If you would like to walk in to pickup your child, please park in the parking lot.

Enrollment

All enrollments are on a first-come basis. Classes are limited, so enroll early. Enrollment forms are available in the New Beginnings Church office.

Complete enrollment forms include the registration form. Forms should be accompanied by a check for the enrollment fee of $50 per child. Return your enrollment forms to Brooke Dooley in the NBC office.

Monthly Tuition

A Monthly tuition is $150. There is a discount given for additional children enrolled. Tuition is due by the first Tuesday of each month. A late fee of $1 per day will be assessed for every day that the tuition is past due.

There is no deduction in tuition for absences. However, we do appreciate being notified when your child will be absent.

Birthdays

We love celebrating birthdays at school! If you wish to provide special birthday treats, please let the teacher know in advance.

Illness

A child who, within the previous 24-hour period, show signs of illness such as: temperature 100.5 degrees, acute cold, diarrhea, vomiting, heavy nasal discharge, or constant cough, must stay home and will not be allowed in the classrooms. A parent will be asked to pick up the child should symptoms develop during the day.

Teachers may not give medication. If your child takes medication on a regular basis (i.e. asthma medication), please feel free to come to school to give it to him/her.

Inclement Weather

Our policy is to close when Bixby Public School closes due to bad weather. Check with the TV or radio news regarding closings.

Open Door Policy

For the safety of our children, visitors must check in at the office. Parents are welcome to visit at any time.

Supplies

lobsterSupply lists will be given to each class.

Please be sure to include a complete change of clothing (including socks), plenty of diapers and wipes (if needed), a sack lunch and a spill-proof cup (labeled) of juice or water in your child’s backpack each day.
