Awana is a nondenominational ministry committed to "reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him." Each week, over 125 kids attend AWANA, where they play games, memorize Bible verses and listen to Bible stories. From ages 2 to 6th grade, children have fun while being taught the Word of God. Your son or daughter would love it! AWANA runs concurrent with the public school calendar. Our Fall Semester will end on Wednesday, December 20th. Our Spring Semester will begin on Wednesday, January 10th, 2007.
AWANA comes from: 2 Timothy 2:15 - "Study they-self approved unto God, a workman needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
You will be amazed at the many things your children will learn in the AWANA program! Through fun games, council time, and handbook time, your children will learn about the word of God and how to apply it to their everyday lives. Sign your children up today and come see all of the exciting things happening in AWANA.
AWANA uses an award system to motivate chldren/youth to memorize Scriptures and to better understand the Bible. Earned awards are displayed on a uniform.
What age groups can be involved?

Puggles (24 months - young 3 year olds) toddlers are taught that God made everything, God saw that it was good, God is love and give thanks through teach cards, activities, music and more with a baby platypus and friends theme.
Cubbies (3 years - Pre-K) children learn about Jesus through fun, games, crafts and awards with Cubbie Bear and friends theme.
Sparks (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade) Sparky the friendly firefly makes learning Bible verses fun.
Truth & Training(T&T) (3rd - 5th grade) teaches the truth of God's Word and trains them to follow Christ in their daily lives.
Trek (6th Grade) boys and girls learn answers to their questions! |

Can You Help?
There is built into each of us the desire to help others. Helping brings happiness. As Christians this goal is met by sharing our faith in a WONDEROUS Lord.
Jesus asked all the children to come to him.
- How can they, unless they are shown the way?
- How will they know the difference from right and wrong?
- How will they know how to defend what they believe?
- How will they become the people God not just wants them to be...but NEEDS them to be?
They need a guide... YOU CAN BE A GUIDE!
- Help children learn WHO God is by memorizing Bible verses.
- Help them understand right from wrong by living an example.
- Help them defend their beliefs by listening and answering their questions.
- Help them become the people God NEEDS them to be.
INVEST YOURSELF IN THE LIVES OF CHILDREN!
Commit each Wednesday night to the next generation of missionaries. You won't be sorry!

- Handbook Helpers (to listen to verses are always welcome - as little or as often as you like!)
